Suffolk is easily accessible by rail. National Express railways provide a twice hourly train service from London Liverpool Street to Ipswich and Stowmarket. From the Midlands and North, a regular direct service operates from Peterborough to Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket and Ipswich. Many other towns and villages are also linked to this network.
