By Air
Suffolk is less than an hour by road from Stansted and Norwich international airports, and just 2 hours from London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Luton and London City airports.
Cambridge City Airport, a fast growing business focused airport providing high levels of service is also on the doorstep of the county. Currently the airport provides a North London base for corporate and executive aircraft and general aviation and also has facilities for scheduled and charter operations. The airport has no slot restrictions and can accept flights twenty-four hours a day.
By Road
The M25- A12/A14 corridor is a key strategic route into Suffolk and has received considerable investment over recent years, making travel by road easy both into and out of the county.
By Rail
Direct trains run from Suffolk to Stratford, every ½ hour, with a journey time from Ipswich of approximately 50 minutes. Excellent rail links exist across the whole of the county into London, including Eurostar connections to and from the continent.
By Sea
Harwich International Port, one of the UK's leading passenger ferry terminals, is located less than an hour by road from Suffolk on the east coast of England. The Port is long established as a natural gateway to Europe with customers benefiting from lock-free, fast access to the North Sea and European ports.

L’aéroport de Cambridge City, aéroport commercial en pleine expansion offrant des niveaux élevés de service, se trouve également à deux pas du comté. L’aéroport représente actuellement une base au nord de Londres pour les avions privés et d’entreprises ainsi que pour l’aviation générale, et offre également la possibilité de vols réguliers et charter. L’aéroport n’est pas sujet à des restrictions horaires et peut accepter des vols à n’importe quelle heure.
Par route
Le couloir M25- A12/A14 est une route stratégique clé d’accès au Suffolk et il a fait l’objet d’investissements considérables au cours des dernières années, facilitant ainsi l’entrée et la sortie du transport routier dans le comté.
Par train
Des trains directs circulent entre le Suffolk et Stratford, toutes les demi-heures, avec un temps de voyage, au départ d’Ipswich, de 50 minutes environ. D’excellents liens ferroviaires existent dans tout le comté à destination de Londres, y compris les connexions Eurostar avec le reste de l’Europe.

Le port international de Harwich, l’un des principaux terminaux de ferrys en Grande-Bretagne, se trouve à moins d’une heure de route du Suffolk sur la côte est anglaise. Le port s’est établi depuis longtemps comme voie naturelle vers l’Europe, avec des clients bénéficiant d’un accès rapide et libre à la mer du Nord et aux ports européens.
