Suffolk Punch Trust

Suffolk Punch Trust

The Suffolk Punch is one of the rarest heavy horses and is on the critically endangered list of the Rare Breed Survival Trust. Each horse can be traced back to 'Crisp's Stallion' of Ufford, foaled in 1768. The Trust has the aim of protecting the breed and increasing horse numbers. With around 30 Suffolk Punches, Thoroughbred horses and other Suffolk farm animals, the Trust offers a unique view of country life - past, present and future. The new Visitor Centre includes an exhibition centre and a small coffee and gift shop. An exciting 'living' project - celebrating our Suffolk heritage.
